Sophia Sagaradze (1997) is a Georgian sound artist, composer, and performer based in Denmark. Her work explores the interplay between external and internal perceptions of space through multichannel electronics, experimental live performance, and audio-visual installations.
Sophia holds a bachelor’s degree in classical composition from Tbilisi State Conservatory and a master’s in electronic composition from DIEM at the Royal Academy of Music, Aarhus/Aalborg. In 2022, she was awarded the Carl Nielsen and Anne Marie Carl-Nielsen Foundation’s Talent Award in Composition.
Her work spans performances across Europe, commissioned pieces for ensembles, and sound installations. She is the founder and artistic director of Aarhus Sound Association (Aarhus Lydforening) and lectures at the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus and Aalborg.
